I'm working on a collection called "Masterworks: As I see It." I've chosen 10 works of art by master artists and I've changed them...I've substituted people of color and I've shoved in a whole bushel full of political opinion. This is a study for the piece called "LIBERTY". It's modeled after Michelangelo's Pieta, but instead of Holy-Mary-Mother of God holding her son, I've used Liberty who is holding the men, women, and children who are being slain by senseless violence in our country. Sketch is 8.5" x 11". One of a kind.
