For many years a group of artists here in Atlanta would meet on Wednesday night for drawing class. The late, great Carl Owens initiated it and we all wanted to be as good as he was, so we never missed a chance to sit and draw with him. When I finished this piece, I decided I didn't want people to focus on her form. This piece is really about the look on her face and what she might be thinking...
